Dear Birth Parents,
Thank you so much for giving us this chance to introduce ourselves and tell you a few things about our lives. We respect and admire your decision to consider an adoption plan for your baby. With your help, we hope to have the opportunity to raise your child in a warm, loving and happy home. We plan to share your child’s adoption story with them and will always honor this precious gift. We hope you can sense how much love we have to give and how happy we are that you are considering our profile.
We met on a blind date nine years ago and have been married for almost five years. Although we are unable to have a child on our own, it has always been our dream to have children through adoption. We have a healthy, honest and fun-loving relationship and we enjoy spending time together and spending time with family and friends. Through this adoption process, we have grown stronger as a couple and cannot wait to adopt a child. We want to raise him or her to be a happy, healthy and strong adult with great family values and all the opportunities to thrive in their life.
We both have very large families, all of which are looking forward to welcoming another family member. We want to be able to share our many family traditions, such as leaving cookies and milk for Santa, Easter egg hunts, going around the table at Thanksgiving to each say what we are thankful for that year and many more family traditions.

About Us
Kim
My name is Kim. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it is working in the yard, gardening, going for walks and keeping active. I love to cook, especially for any get-togethers. I also like to read, sew and just be creative. I can’t wait to share these things and more with our child throughout his or her life.
After working at a law firm for most of my life, I chose to change careers so that I could be a stay at home mom. I now work in the accounting office for a multi-franchised car dealership. I am lucky to have co-workers and a boss that is fully supportive of our adoption plans.
Jamie says: Kim is full of life, love and compassion. She always makes me smile and I look forward to coming home each day. Kim is not only my wife, she truly is my best friend. She’s also the type of woman that wants to be a part of anything I do. I know she is going to be a great mom just by the way I see her engage our family and friends’ children and the way she puts everyone’s needs before herself.
Jamie
My name is Jamie. I enjoy most outside activities, such as riding four wheelers, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting and camping. I especially like working around the yard, tending to our vegetable garden and building things from scratch. I am looking forward to spending lots of time with my child doing these things.
I have been a manager of parts and service for a multi-franchised car dealership for over 15 years. I am fortunate that my career allows me the flexibility to be able to be a very involved parent.
Kim says: One of the things I have loved about Jamie from the moment I met him is his ability to make me laugh and smile no matter what the situation. I thank his parents for his “old fashioned” tendencies, such as opening doors, taking out the garbage and treating me with kindness and respect. I also like that he wants to be home and that he spends time with our nieces and nephews. There’s no doubt in my mind he will make an exceptional loving, caring and supportive father.
Just for Fun
We both enjoy watching and going to Nascar races (the last one was in New Hampshire), and traveling to new states to explore different cultures and scenery, especially seeing the zoos (most recently Colorado Springs). Each August, we camp for a week at a campground. During the warmer months, we love getting together with a group of friends and family members to drive to a lake to swim and barbeque or just hang out in the back yard to play games.
