Dear Birthmother,
Brave is one word we would use to describe you even though we have never met. You have decided to do something so incredible, give the gift of life to another. This must have been a difficult road to travel, but you decided to help fulfill someone’s greatest wish which has taken bravery, strength and compassion.
As difficult as it must be for you, we think that what you are doing is an exceptional act of love for your child. The range of emotions that you must be going through cannot be easy. We can only reassure you that we will love this child with everything in us. We will raise your child with unconditional love, respect, silliness, encouragement, laughter, fun and so much more.
Our names are Korreen and Bill and we want to take a few moments to tell you about ourselves. We are a loving couple waiting for a child to become part of our family and life. We have been together for over 13 years (married for 7). We can’t wait to share the rest of our lives with an amazing child who will bring our family the joy and happiness that only a child can.
In dealing with our own infertility, we came to realize that it didn’t matter if a child was ours biologically. What mattered was that we wanted a child to love. The only thing missing now is the child. We are ready for the joy, dedication and love that comes with being parents. This is our dream.

About Us
We met at college and began dating at the end of our junior year. Since that time we have been a couple. We were together for six years before getting married in 2000. It’s been 13+ years now and we are still in love, getting closer and having fun. Our relationship has always been very solid and we don’t take it for granted. We have many interests in common but enough differences to keep life together fresh and to feel individually fulfilled.
Traveling is one thing we both love to do. We have been to places like Aruba, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Las Vegas and Hawaii (where Korreen’s sister lives). We definitely like the warmer climates!
I am the chef of the family although Bill is the master of the grill. My favorite things to cook are the foods I like to eat such as Chinese or Italian. I can whip up practically anything in the wok. Bill loves my chicken fingers. It’s also fun making pizza at home, especially when our nieces and nephews come over and make their own creations.
Bill’s specialties on the grill include steak tips, burgers however you like them, vegetables, and chicken kabobs. Oh yeah, grilled potatoes with cheese is always a fan favorite. After dinner, we like to break out the dominoes and play a match while the sun sets.
Baking Christmas cookies is a tradition I continue to carry on to this day from when I was a little girl, which I hope will become a tradition in our child’s home one day as well.
Spending time with family and friends is very important. After that our interests include gardening, going to the beach, reading and cooking. Together we also enjoy going for walks, playing all kinds of games and I enjoy being the family photographer and Bill enjoys golf with his dad.
When the nice weather arrives we head for our beautiful town beach. You can always find a good book in our beach bag. We can’t wait to take family trips there to play in the water, build sandcastles and explore!
