Korreen and Bill
About Bill by Korreen
Bill is wonderful. He is a very thoughtful, caring, generous and dedicated person. He is always willing to help out family or friends when they need a hand no questions asked. He shows people he cares through his actions and words. He is not afraid to be affectionate or goofy with our nieces and nephews. They have nick named him Uncle “Silly” (in place of Billy) for this reason. He makes me laugh. He makes me happy. He is my best friend.
About Korreen by Bill
Most people say their partner is; loving, thoughtful, kind, fair, tough, funny, smart, special, and strong. Korreen is all these things. But she is more, she is Korreen. When you meet her you’ll understand. It is wonderful to watch her around children and see how much fun she has with them. She won’t just sit there and watch them; she will interact with them and teach them things even though they don’t know she is teaching them. If the kids figured that part out they may sing a different tune.
We feel blessed to have very close relationships with our parents, our sisters and their families. When it is our turn to be parents we will make sure that our child understands the importance of a loving and supportive family first hand.
Our child would have not only grandparents, but great grandparents as well. Additionally, he or she would have many cousins, aunts and uncles. Several of these would-be cousins live very close by and would love a new baby cousin to play with and baby-sit when they get older.
Vacations with our families are a regular event. We often tag along on camping trips or plan longer vacations with family members that live farther away. Getting together with our family for more than just a few hours really allows us to keep our connections strong.
We enjoy spending our free time with our nieces and nephews at their various competitions and sporting events. We are not afraid to cheer them on proudly, no matter what their interests happen to be. They know who their best customers are when it comes to selling Girl Scout cookies!
Most of our family lives within driving distance of our home, which allows us to get together often. Whether we are making new memories together or remembering old ones we are always having a good time.
I, Bill, was involved with soccer, basketball and baseball all through childhood and college. I was not only a player but a coach as well. Sports taught me a lot about life including competitiveness, leadership, how to win and lose, how to have fun, and make friends.
For our child, I would try to instill the values that my parents and coaches taught me through sports no matter what their interests may be. We will be behind him or her 100%.
We can’t wait to spend time as a family. Whether we are doing new things like going to the zoo for the first time or the everyday routines like playing in the yard or reading stories together, the child’s best interest will always come first. Parenting will give us the biggest rewards in life.
