Our Home
We have made a comfortable home for ourselves in an antique colonial, built in 1833, which has lots of character. Fixing up the house has become a hobby. We are both very skilled do-it-yourselfers.
Our yard is large and flat with flower gardens and trees all around. It would be the perfect spot for our child to play in and grow.
We live in a coastal community with excellent schools which is very important and one of the reasons why we moved to this town. Boston is also close by and offers so many opportunities for learning and fun that we hope to take advantage of.
Our backyard has an apple tree that attracts deer. We have wild bunnies and turkeys that visit often too. (Bill helped build the shed as well)
The Future
Our plan for now is that I (Korreen) will take a one year leave of absence from teaching to stay home and raise our child. After the year, we would re-evaluate things and decide if my staying home permanently would be right for our family. We were both raised as Catholics and we plan to raise our child in the Catholic faith.
At this point we would like to have some contact if that is your wish. We would send pictures and letters or emails to you of important milestones in your child’s life like birthdays and the Christening. We hope that we will be able to meet you, to learn more about each other, and to take pictures for your child’s life book that will be created and shared with your child.
