The Foundation of Our Families
Both of us grew up in supportive, close-knit families. While we didn’t know it as children, we learned from our parents what a balancing-act life was. All of our parents worked full-time jobs while raising their families, but they managed to find the time to help their children with homework, teach them responsibility by assigning chores to help around the house, attend church services with them on a regular basis, and provided lots of opportunity for them to just have fun and be kids.
We both enjoy memories of our parents taking us swimming, skating, fishing, and on family vacations. We were very fortunate to have such good role-models for parents, and to this day we still look to our parents as our mentors and also our friends. Like most adults, we have experienced crisis and turmoil in our lives, but we have each overcome those challenges due to the strength of our families’ support and unconditional love.
We hope that this profile gives you a good sense of our lifestyle, our beliefs, and our desire to provide a warm and welcoming family for your child. We are fun, outgoing, and easy to be with, but we are also reliable and responsible. We are looking forward so much to this next phase of our lives.
