Robin and Aaron

Dear Birth Mother,
We appreciate and value that this is a very difficult and loving act by you to choose an adoption plan for your baby.
We welcome the prospect of talking with you about your very complicated decision and choice. We are blessed to have the opportunity to adopt a baby into our family.
The Story of Us
We met when Robin was completing a work study program at Aaron’s company. Robin needed a more powerful computer to do some work, Aaron had a powerful computer! We married in the spring of 1999 and lived just outside Bangor, in an
old farmhouse. We love to travel and participate in many different activities, both summer and winter.
Our dog Kegan was our wedding gift to each other; he was followed 2 years later by Katherine. They actually share the same birthday! When Katherine was 3, we decided we wanted to expand our family. After trying to conceive on our own for 3 years, we have decided to expand our family by adoption.

Family
Family is very important to us. Aaron comes from a family of 4 boys and Robin grew up as the middle of 3 kids. Most of our family lives within a 15 minute drive of our new home located in Bangor. We see most of our family weekly, if not more frequently!

We are very excited about the opportunity to expand our family. Robin’s job allows her to take a leave of absence and is looking forward to staying home for 6 months and then returning part-time. Katherine is looking forward to being a big sister; she hopes to be the person who makes the baby smile first. Aaron is excited about a amazing new person joining our family.
Robin’s first cousin is expecting a baby in February– we are very excited to be able to have a built in playgroup!
Katherine has 6 first cousins – last summer, she and her cousin Julia were the flower girls in their oldest cousins wedding. Cousin Daniel was the ring bearer.
